Hey! I'm Robin, your Ontario-registered wedding officiant, and I've spent the past 20+ years helping couples make their marriages official. Honestly, it might be one of the best gigs in Toronto.

I didn't wake up dreaming of being a wedding officiant (that would be weird), but somewhere along the way, I realized there's nothing quite like being invited into one of the most meaningful moments of peoples’ lives. High school sweethearts celebrating 37 years together. Young couples just beginning their adventure. Elopements at sunset. Elaborate celebrations at some of Toronto's finest venues—from Graydon Hall to Casa Loma—and lots of parks, restaurants, studios, party rooms, backyards, and living rooms.

I'm a Maritimer who traded the quiet, slow-paced coastal beauty for the opportunity, diversity, and buzz of Toronto seven years ago. I live in Riverdale with my wife of 27 years, our four kids, and two Australian Labradoodles who are much less professional than I am. When I'm not officiating ceremonies, I'm probably reading, collecting records, biking around the city, or cheering on the Blue Jays, Raptors, or the Detroit Lions (any other long-suffering fans out there?).

What I actually do:

I create ceremonies that feel like you. Whether it's short and sweet, elaborate and custom, or just paperwork that should probably feel less boring than it does, I bring warmth, professionalism, a decent sense of humour, and genuine care to every single ceremony. I listen. I'm flexible. I'm punctual (even in bad weather). And I actually follow up with couples afterward. Apparently that's unusual, but it matters to me.
